First we stumbled up (and shared!) the many yummy recipes for Pink Hot Chocolate, so that got us searching for other ways to enjoy this warm, wintery treat. How about a sweet mug of Boozy White Hot Chocolate? Yes, please! Made with milk, white chocolate (of course!) spices and rum or hazlenut liqueur, this recipe from The Little Ferraro Kitchen is definitley one to try and perfect for a winter wedding signature drink.
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup Ghirardelli white chocolate chips
2 oz. rum or Frangelico (or your favorite liquor)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. freshly ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cardamom
Marshmallows for topping
In a small pot, on medium-low heat, add all of the ingredients expect for the marshamallows and rum. Use a whisk to mix everything together and slowly melt the chocolate.
Once the heated milk is hot enough but not boiling, add run and pour into mugs. Top with marshmallows.
