If there is one thing that we look foward to enjoying every fall and winter, it’s apple cider! Although our favorite way to enjoy it is warmed up in a big ole mug, when we came across this Apple Cider Bourbon Slushie recipe over on Spache the Spatula, we were more than ready to give it a try! With a touch of cinnamon sugar to rim each glass, how festive would this be to serve as your signature drink at a cold weather month wedding?! Yum!
2 cups of ice
1/2 cup apple cider or unfiltered apple juice
1/4 cup bourbon
a few dashes of bitters
1 tsp. groun cinnamon
1 to 2 tbsp. sugar
Mix together the cinnamon and sugar on a plate. Rub just a bit of agave syrup around the rims of the glasses and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
In blender, blend together the ice, apple cider, bourbon and bitters. Pour into the prepared glasses.
