Our breath caught when we saw this photograph. Sure we’d seen this particular pose countless times but never in this magical of a setting. Captured by Richard Bell Photography at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, this stunning venue is in Charleston, South Carolina. Magnolia boasts that it is “the last large scale Romantic Gardens left in the United States.” First open to the public in the 1870’s, it has been owned by the same family for three generations. Many parts of the gardens are older then the late 1800’s with some sections more than 325 years old, making them the oldest unrestored gardens in America. Definitely on our must visit list!
