We’re always up for a unique wedding. This one surely takes the cake! Braedon of Braedon Photography describes it as a “Bon Iver inspired sunrise wedding.” You read right ~ the ceremony took place at sunrise in the woods! Specifically the Peter Strauss Ranch, which is owned by The National Park Service. Now if you’re not a morning person this may not be for you, but consider the gorgeous natural light! The bride and groom had never met anyone who had a sunrise wedding and decided to give it a try. The bride said, “And looking back now, I’m really so happy we did it. It was the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to. The light was unreal, the sounds of nature were breathtaking, and the sun shining through the trees right when we kissed couldn’t have been pulled off better.” Not to mention, having a wedding at a National Park is very affordable especially if the feel you’re going for is casual, laid back and outdoors.
