We love the work of Christine Cater Floral & Event Design so when we came across this ethereal setting on Big Sur we had to share! Halfway between Cambria and Big Sur proper is a small ridge called Point 16 which is a spectacular ceremony site with unrivaled views of the Big Sur coast and the Pacific Ocean. Complementing this majestic ocean backdrop, the couple’s family created this birch arch which was hung with the bride’s macrame wall hanging and strands of hand dyed yarn tassels. The wedding planner used wicker, ceramic and glass containers to hold pampas grass, greens and spring blooms at the end of the aisle and surrounding the ceremony arch. The perfectly matched rug was already owned by the bride and groom and added the finishing touch. Simply lovely.
