We’ve been seeing a lot of fig adorned cakes lately. And no wonder, halved figs exposing their luscious flesh is a feast for the eyes! Solo, or mixed with fruit, greens or flowers makes for a pretty cake. Figs were popular with naked cakes, but as you can see by the examples below, they look just as lovely with buttercream, fondant or semi naked. Looking for something other than flowers?
