Wire artist Donata Curtotti lives and works in Italy. Her blog and the name of her company is called Le Bianche Margherite which translates to “white daisy.” Le Bianche Margherite is named after her two daughters, Bianca and Margherita. Creating a blog five years ago to document her time at home with her children, Donata started to play with wire, making small decorative items for the home. She naturally progressed to wire paintings, cake toppers and decor for weddings. She describes herself as “A mom/wife who tells stories with a simple wire.” We’ve shared a few of our favorite cake toppers. You can see more of her work here and here. She does not have an online shop and works solely on commission. If you like what you see, you can contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org because how cool would that be to have your cake topper handmade by an artist from Italy?
