“Our wedding day was the fairytale dream I’d dreamt of since I was a little girl. Coming from a small village on the coast of West Wales and now living in Kent with my partner I fell in love with our chosen venue after the four and a half mile drive down a bendy country lane; ending up at the most picturesque location on the waters edge – I felt right at home. Together we created a rustic glam wedding, with classic white hydrangeas, lilac roses, lime washed chiavari chairs and vintage accessories, dressing the already rustic barn into a classically elegant space. Superhero and princess table names and a his and hers 4 tier wedding cake accentuating this theme brought our fun and lighthearted personalities to the day. Eight bridesmaids and eight men suited and booted our wedding was filled with close family and friends, laughter and love and each and everyone of them helped us celebrate in style.
We wanted to give our guests something special back and remember the day in the most fun way we could, which is why we chose to get a marryoke, allowing the guests to get involved and be busy having fun whilst the wedding party were smiling for snaps! Our big surprise for the guests were singing waiters, who served canapés, the wedding breakfast and were there from the word go. Just before bringing out dessert the waiters burst out into song and serenaded our guests with eight tunes chosen by us, which is when the party really began. The surprise on our guests faces was the best moment to capture.
My dress was the second I had tried on and everything else thereafter could not compare to this one – Sophia Tolli, Jillian. It originally had a lace up back, however my seamstress from The Bridal Wardrobe, Rochester adapted it to the button back dress I adored.
We wish we could do it all again, every moment was so perfect for us.”
