How gorgeous is bride Gia in her Sophia Tolli Prinia gown? Style Y11552 is a sweetheart A-line tulle wedding gown featuring layers of hand beaded lace appliqués with chapel train and back corset. Gia was actually looking for a blush fit and flare dress with “minimal detail” when she laid eyes upon Prinia. Just goes to show, sometimes what you think you want is not what you wind up falling for, so it’s always a good idea to try on a variety of styles. We think Gia made an excellent choice! Scroll down for some sweet pics captured by Ingrid Bonne Photography, as well as words from the bride herself!
“Matt and I had the best day ever. We got married on March 24th in a suburb outside of Chicago. Our area was expecting 5 inches of snow that day but we got lucky and it all went south. We felt very lucky to have such amazing families and friends that supported us every step of the way. We had friends and family come in from all across the states to celebrate with us. And the biggest hit of the night was our donut wall that Matt made himself. Everything about it was perfect.
I bought my gown at Kathyrn’s Bridal in Mchenry, IL. I remember walking into the store feeling like a kid in a candy store. As my consultant was asking me all types of questions about what I was looking for (I set out to get a blush, fit and flare dress with minimal detail dress) another consultant put back the Prinia. It immediately caught my eye, and I could not take my eyes off how beautiful that gown looked on the hanger. While my family was in shock that a dress like that would catch my attention, I asked if I could try that one on. Fast forward to the fitting room, I waited to try on the Prinia dress as my third dress, and as soon as I stepped into it I knew it was the one, and the rest is history.”
