We were married on the afternoon of Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center in Houston, TX. We had an intimate, botanical themed wedding ceremony – which my dress flowed beautifully with. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect. We chose to have a small ceremony in the Fall – September was a special month for us since our anniversary was already that month on the first. We had just celebrated 5 years together a few weeks before getting married.
I walked down the aisle to “Young and Beautiful” by Lana del Rey played magnificently by a string ensemble – it was the song my husband chose for me. We didn’t have a traditional Catholic ceremony but did include some traditions to our wedding – prayers, lasso rosary. We wrote our own vows, which was my favorite part of our whole ceremony. Many tears, laughs and smiles during our vows – it was just such a special moment I will forever hold in my heart.
Our wedding day is a day I will never forget. It went by fast but we made sure to enjoy every single moment of our day. From my dress, flowers, theme, vendors – everything was absolutely PERFECT.”
