A former Mrs. International and three-time state titleholder, Laine Berry is the head designer of the couture pageant line, Mon Cheri Collection. In addition to acquiring an educational background in Fashion Design for the Stage, Laine has owned the Royal We in Conway, Arkansas since 2008. A premier pageant and social occasion boutique, the Royal We gives Laine the opportunity to design hundreds of custom gowns and talent costumes for pageant contestants worldwide. Recognized as one of the nation’s foremost stylists, Berry has emceed and spoken to audiences of all ages across the globe. Her reputation as “a stylist that dresses winners” proceeds her. Laine has dressed over 100 state winners nationwide in as many as 7 different pageant systems.
“As a member of the Mon Cheri team, my goal is to advance high-end social occasion design and to be on the cutting edge of pageant fashion, blending haute couture ideas with real world wearability. Having worked with pageant contestants and young women for over a decade, I create personalized fashion brands that allow them to truly demonstrate who they are without ever saying a word. I strongly believe in women empowering women and relish the opportunity to do so by clothing them in the best of the best available in the market. As a female former pageant competitor, I have a unique understanding of what pageant contestants crave and look forward to continuing to dress them to win. I plan to utilize my well-developed design skills to take the Mon Cheri Collection line in a new, fresh and exciting direction,” adds Laine.
